Is Same Sex/Gay Marriage God Ordained?

In the beginning God created a perfect man whom He called Adam and a perfect woman whom He called Eve with perfect bodies and brought them together in the first ever God ordained marriage (Genesis 2:22). He placed them in a perfect home (Garden of Eden). When Adam saw his God GIVEN wife Eve he said: “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman because she was taken out of Man. Therefore, shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave unto his WIFE: and they shall be ONE FLESH” (Gen.2: 23-24). And God blessed Adam and Eve and God said unto them: “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth” (Gen. 1: 27-28).

The Bible records in Genesis that Adam and Eve actually wasted no time in their response to God’s command. The Bible states: “And Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said I have gotten a man from the Lord. And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of soil” (Gen.4:1-2).

It is evident that God has left no opportunity to doubt the fact that the definition of marriage is between one man and one woman and not between a man and a man or a woman and a woman as propagated by society including some Christian denominations. Supporting God’s law is the biological impossibility for any gay/union /couple to produce an offspring of their own. Thus proving that any such union is unnatural as it goes against God’s natural law on marriage.

Contradiction to God’s word is illustrated by the legalizing of gay marriage in certain first world countries example; Canada, U.S.A and France. In addition, many churches are flouting God’s commandments by now accommodating and ordaining gay ministers and performing gay marriages. This is certainly blasphemous, offensive and abominable in the eyes of Almighty God. Be warned that while there are some who consider same sex marriage as a Human Right it is definitely not a God’s right. God warns us in Isaiah 5:20 “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter”.
Despite gay unions/marriages becoming legalized in many countries worldwide it is still against God’s laws. God’s word warns “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is Abomination” (Lev.18:22) and “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death: their blood shall be upon them” (Lev. 20: 13). A situation similar to this occurred in the example of Sodom and Gomorrah where same sex marriage was legalized. In spite of this God still destroyed both cities with fire and brimstone (Gen. 19:1-29). Many may argue that gay marriages/unions is a decision reflective of an individual’s freedom. However, the notions of individualism and equality was not sufficient in God’s eyes to pardon Sodom and Gomorrah’s deviation from his commandments.

The word of God also states in the New Testament: “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature. And likewise, also the man leaving the natural use of the woman burned in their LUST one toward another; man with man working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient” (Rom. 1:26-28). In addition, it is written in 1Corinthians 6:9-10 “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God? Be not deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind. Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit he Kingdom of God”. Revelation 21:8 states that the following would not be accepted in the new Heaven and new Earth: “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death”.

It is evident that Same Sex/Gay Marriage is not ordained by God and is in complete desecration of his commandments and his Word. It should be seriously considered a mortal sin for teachers to utilize their classrooms, politicians to utilize their offices, parents to use their homes, the media to utilize their influence and preachers to use their pulpits to indoctrinate and influence the masses to condone and accept homosexual behaviours and homosexual marriages. God’s words are forever settled in Heaven and there is no room for compromise or any kind of middle ground. While many may portray a scene of homosexuals not being afforded the opportunity and freedom to love and marry and are being persecuted by the law and society. The reality is the laws were fashioned and guided by a sense of morality, a sense of right and wrong. However, God is still faithful, merciful, and just to forgive all those who are willing to confess their sins and to cleanse them from all unrighteousness through Jesus Christ His only Begotten Son (1 Jn. 1:5-10; Jn. 3:16).
